Figures, vectors, images, or photographs are combined in a framework to produce the illusion of motion through time in animation. The animation can be created by hand, on a smartphone, or on a computer utilizing computer-generated images (CGI). Did you know that a picture can only be held in the human eye for a fraction of a second? When we observe a short sequence of images, our brain combines them into a single moving image. How smooth these animations are will be determined by the number of pictures or frames that display continuously on screens for one second. Traditional animation video company movies use 24 frames per second, but as technology progresses, 60-frame animation is becoming increasingly common.
